Hey there!
Late july I'm going to Sweden for 2 weeks. Ofcourse I take my mtb with me, but I don't know where to ride! Are there marked mtb-routes in southern Sweden? (I'm not going any more north than Stockholm).
Hope someone can help me out!
Cheers,
Myrte

everywhere :D
For real: First stop is Sölvesborg, than we go to Stockholm, Ărebro, Göteborg and back to Malmö. So we're traveling around. We don't have any concrete plans.

What kind of riding are you looking for? XC/AM i suppose? :P
I'm sure there is plenty of guys who know the local forests 100 times as good as i do so i will let them help you but if you want us to put a gang together for a ride somewhere here in Göteborg when you pass by i'm sure we will figure something. :D

In Ărebro I suggest you visit the Marka-forest. ItÂŽs located right behind the university in the east side of town. There you can enjoy a great technical singletrack (6,4 km).

When in sölvesborg, try Ryssberget. Wonderful trails when dry, but some of them can be almost impossible when wet. There are marked hiking trails you can try(just red/orange/white paint on the trees), I seldom meet hikers when biking there. On the top of the hill there's a cabin, "Ryssbergsstugan", where you can get water from a tap.

Keep an out for the happy rides! Or post your own :-) Hellas a few km south of Stockholm has lots of dirt roads and single tracks. See the links posted above. Godspeed!

Give me a hint when you arrive Sölvesborg.
I know some people who might take you for a ride around the trails.
If I don't work, we could use the trails around my village.
Then we will use some of these trails:::
http://web.telia.com
http://web.telia.com
Both pages are from last year - when we had a "Happy-ride".
If I ride with you, it won't be for more than 30 km.
I'm not on top right now...
